Registered with the Companies Act as a closed Corporation cc (2006/225547/23), Drafting Unlimited specialises in Architectural drawings and plans, and has successfully completed a wide range of projects, both small and large. Our motto is: “Customer satisfaction at all cost.” We place great importance on turnaround time and the accuracy of drawings, and make the effort to ensure that each and every job completed not only meets, but exceeds our clients’ expectations. Technology |
| We make use of the latest CAD (Computer Aided Design) packages, including the top Architectural package “Revit” Architecture 2008, by the well known company Autodesk, as well as AutoCAD 2007 for other types of drawings that do not require an Architecturally-based platform. Other software packages used are: Civil 3D; "Revit" Structural and "Revit" MEP, that also form part of our professional service. "Inventor 5" is used for more engineering type work. As we have a general seat on Autodesk, this allows us to constantly stay up-to-date with upgrades and training. |

Principal Architectural Technologist & Founder
Since an early age, Dickie was interested in the Draughting field. He has a Diploma in Architectural Technology and is a registered member with the South African Council of Architectural Professionals, as a Professional Architectural Technologist. Recently joined SAIAT (South African Institute of Architectural Technologists) the governing body for those practicing as Architectural Technologists.
Dickie is currently furthering his academic career and is enrolled with the University of Pretoria (Tukkies) in their P.hD program. |

Dolph de Bruyn

My name is Dolph de Bruyn, I am fifty three years of age and have been an employee of SAA for 32 years. I have always been interested in the creative part of Architecture; fortunately an opportunity arose by way of Dickie du Plessis of Drafting Unlimited where I am now currently under training. This also opened up an opportunity for me to apply for early retirement from SAA and further a career in Architecture. I look forward to meeting new people and being involved with some exciting projects in the various developments that are and will be undertaken by Drafting Unlimited.
